INTERVENTION SPECIALIST
(opportunities in multiple geographic areas)

At ECN, Inc. you will learn new and exciting skills that will boost your resume while providing ABA or Floortime therapies for our children aged birth to eight. Educational Consultants of New England, Inc. has a state of the art office with the most recent equipment and materials to assist with your sessions.

As a therapist you will work one-on-one with the child while training the family with intensive support from our Regional Educational Coordinators and Directors.

We service the whole 128 & 495 loops (including: Boston, South Shore, North Shore, Metro West and Worcester areas). Each staff member works in a specific region close to their home - We are expanding our services so positions are open in all areas.

EXPERT SUPERVISION
We have highly trained supervisors who meet with you on a weekly basis to discuss cases and provide hands on training.

QUALIFICATIONS
Must have BA or BS, experience working with kids diagnosed on the autism spectrum, and a love of children.

SALARY RANGE
Starting salary range is 30,000 depending upon experience and degree level.

    OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST
Full-Time | For Children with Asperger's Syndrome
 

The School for Accelerated Learning is a year-round innovative program helping students with Asperger’s Syndrome and Nonverbal Learning Disabilities achieve academic and social success.  Students are accepted from grades 3-12 and we have a total of 22 students and are located in Waltham, MA. 

We are seeking candidates who are highly experienced with our population and energetic to lead groups and individual services and help support our teaching staff.  Candidates must have experience teaching students sensory integration skills (but don’t need to be SI Certified), coping skills, and fine motor skills.  We are a small enough school so candidates have the opportunity to personally know each student, their families, and our staff.

JOB SUMMARY

  • Formal and informal assessment of students with report
  • Create curriculum and lead daily groups
  • Provide individual services
  • Teaching staff and families about sensory integration and motor skill development
  • Providing occasional home visits

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BA or Masters in Occupational Therapy
  • Current Mass. License (or will sit for license soon)
  • Must have Sensory Integration experience (but don’t need to be licensed)
  • Must have experience with students on the Autism Spectrum (preferably higher functioning students)
  • Must be a team player
  • Personal traits such as organization, flexibility, excellent communication skills, personable, and ability to multitask.
